CARDBOARD BOAT REGATTA!!!

Wednesday, August 5th, 2026@ 4pm

Race Rules:

  • Each boat may be constructed ONLY out of cardboard and duct tape, no other materials allowed.
  • Each boat must have 4 + sides and a bottom. 
  • 25-meter race: 1 length of the pool.
  • Each boat may carry one to four people. There will be multiple races (groupings might include: little people race, older kid race, three or more people, etc. –based on who enters)

The annual membership meeting is being held on August 19th at 6 pm at the Club. We look forward to seeing all members at the meeting! We are hoping to have as many members as possible attend so that we can get your feedback on upcoming capital improvements. Colony is a member owned and operated club and we need your help!!!

The board has been notified about several items of US mail that were returned to sender due to a USPS issue:

UNABLE TO FORWARD”

Some checks have been received and we are working with the post office to identify the cause of the issue and make sure that we are able to receive your checks going forward.  In the event that mail continues to be a challenge, please resend, keeping your check in the original envelope and we will honor the first post mark with respect to the late payment penalty deadline of March 15th.  Please note that April 15th is still an absolute, automatic termination deadline.

Please also remember to add “[email protected]” to your contacts such that you receive email campaigns from the club.

Thank you, we are doing a great job with renewals for 2025 using the Membersplash platform. We’re aware of an issue where the payments page is displaying blank or missing expected credit card and ACH payment fields.

Dear Colony Members,

We are working hard to get ready for opening day! We have been working closely with the insurance company and our contractor to get the damage caused by the storm last year all fixed and ready to go for another great summer at Colony! Here are just a few of the things that we have been up to:

   – We have had the roof replaced and resealed

   – The storage shed has been rebuilt, with a new roof and new doors

   – The cinder blocks in the women’s restroom that were damaged have been removed and will be replaced by May 1st.

  – The sunshades that were lost in the storm will begin to be replaced starting the week of 4/15/24.

We are working hard and can’t wait for our Colony Family to be together again for a great 2024 season!!
