Swim Lesson Registration
Colony Swim Club provides swim lessons for club members only. Waitlist families are allowed to take swim lessons in Session 4 if space is available. Lessons are available for children of all abilities, are taught by Colony’s certified lifeguarding staff, and follow American Red Cross guidelines. The cost this season for a two week lesson is $60.
In an effort to allow more members the opportunity to register their children for swim lessons participants will be limited to register for 1 Session/Block through May 10th. If you are interested in signing up for more than 1 session/block, or it is full, you will need to register for the STANDBY sesssion/block and you will notified if a spot becomes available for your child.
- Those that register for more than 1 session/block will have any additional registrations dropped.
- In order to added to the standby list you must register for a standby spot.
Online Registration Opens- Sat. May 2nd – 10:00am
Swim Lessons signup will open Saturday, May 6th, 10:00 am. (Date change to improve credit card payment system) An email notification will be sent out to members with additional swim lessons opening information. The link (CLICK Red Cross logo below) will become active once registration has opened.

Class Information
Levels are based on the American Red Cross “Learn to Swim” program. If you are not sure which level your child should be in, please take your best guess and add a note to the sign-up sheet for the swim lesson staff to follow up with you. Colony’s Levels – Description
As recommended by the American Red Cross, class sizes are limited in order to provide a safe, manageable student-teacher ratio: Level 1: Maximum of 4 students per instructor and Levels 2-6: Maximum of 6 students per instructor

Private Swim Lessons
Private swim lessons are also available with the Colony Lifeguard of your choice. Colony Lifeguards’ certification (LGI, WSI) is available in the clubhouse. Please speak directly to the individual lifeguard to schedule, determine fee, and pay.
