Annual Board of Directors Election
Colony Swim Club is managed by a 9-member Board of Directors. Any fully-vested member (i.e., a member who owns their membership bond) can run for the Board. This is a 3-year term. An interested candidate would be running to be a member of the Board and not for a specific role on the Board. Three board positions become available each year. Each position generally requires less than 10 hours per month, plus a monthly two-hour board meeting. The election is held annually in August and the new directors are announced at the Annual Membership Meeting, which is generally held on the third Wednesday of August.

The deadline for submitting a nomination is Wednesday, July 31, 2024.
Interested individuals must:

Own their Membership Bond Certificate; generally, this means your membership number starts with 2020 or earlier

Sign-up on the Board Election list posted in the Clubhouse and/or email your interest to Julie Eschmann at [email protected]

Submit a short biography listing your background and qualifications to Julie Eschmann, [email protected], no later than 7/31/2024
