The mission of the Colony Swim
Club is to provide member children an opportunity to gain confidence in the
water while learning and demonstrating competitive swim techniques. The
Club will develop interest in competitive swimming through positive
reinforcement coaching methods that will be demonstrated in competitive swim
meets.
To be successful, a
partnership is formed with parents by seeking a solid commitment of their
swimmers to practices and meets through parental involvement in team
activities. Our ultimate goal is to foster a fun, yet competitive swimming
environment.

practicing competitive swimming methods through placement in the swim

Older youths act as role
models and mentors to the younger teammates.
Involvement by all swim team parents is
expected so that all share the load.
