The Colony Swim Club provides swim lessons for club members only. The
lessons are available for children of all abilities. Lessons are taught by
our life guarding staff and follow American Red Cross guidelines.

| |
Sessions and Times: For this year,
it was agreed to modify the swim lesson schedule and eliminate the middle
swim lesson in each session because few people signed up for it.
As recommended by the American Red Cross, we will limit class sizes in order
to provide a safe, manageable student-teacher ratio (typical: Level 1-3: 8
or less students, level 4-7: 10 or less students/instructor). We will try to
accommodate your first choice but reserve the right to assign second and
third choice. (Earlier postmark will get higher priority.)

| |
Levels: Swim lessons are based on the American Red Cross “Learn
to Swim” program. If you’re not sure which level your child should be in,
please take your best guess and add a note to the lesson sign-up sheet, and
we’ll follow-up with you.
